DetailsArt.com is the online storefront complementing Details & Green Shoelaces gallery. DetailsArt focuses on delivering high quality, low cost contemporary craft production pieces as a complement to the gallery's one of a kind pieces and studio-produced artist work. Details Art & Design is a contemporary craft gallery designed to make available unique, uncommon and distinctive art furniture, decorative and functional art objects and jewelry. The defining character of the gallery is reflected in its name. The owners: Vicki & Michael Schwager moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan when Michael received his MBA from the University of Michigan. Vicki started making jewelry in 1977 and has participated in many fine art and craft fairs throughout the country. In 1998 Vicki and Michael moved back to Tucson, Arizona to open Details & Green Shoelaces, (now Details Art & Design) which has been voted one of the Top 100 Niche magazine craft galleries. Dara Perry has a computer engineering degree from the University of Michigan. She has spent many years touring the art fair circuit selling jewelry with her mom. She also has first had experience in Ann Arbor's art and craft stores. Dara left her position with Accenture to start DetailsArt.com. Dara is taking her computer background along with her retail and craft knowledge into the DetailsArt website which launched May 2003.
