SHIPPING CONFIRMATION We do not send packages with signature confirmation unless the customer requests this service by e-mail for an additional $2 charge. Most customers are not present to sign for packages and this helps reduce shipping costs. CANADA ORDERS We cannot accept credit cards with billing addresses in Canada, absolutely no exceptions. ORDER ACCURACY It is the customer's responsibility to make sure their order is correct and all item specifications have been verified with the manufacturer before submitting payment online or by telephone. Lighting On The Net will not accept any responsibility for any costs associated with exchanging any item(s) bought due to your error or incorrect information provided by the manufacturer. If an exchange is necessary due to your error or incorrect manufacturer information, a new order will be created and the old order will be cancelled and refunded less any fees outlined below. An order confirmation email is sent after an order is completed and paid for, and it is the customer's responsibility to make sure the completed order lists the correct items with the correct options, prices and total payment. If an order confirmation is not received by email within 6 hours, no order has been placed, and your credit card has not been charged. ORDER CANCELLATION Orders under $50 may not be cancelled for any reason. You may cancel your order without penalty up until 5PM Eastern Standard Time of the "day" you placed the order. If for example, you place an order at 9PM Eastern Standard Time, you have until 5PM Eastern Standard Time the following day to cancel your order without penalty. To cancel without penalty you may cancel your specific order # by either 1. Sending an e-mail to help@lightingonthenet.com (which must be received by 5PM Eastern Standard Time, no exceptions.) 2. Leaving a telephone message at 877-569-2852 before 5PM Eastern Standard Time, no exceptions. (All messages are time-stamped). After 5PM Eastern Standard Time, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 10%, although cancellation fees for certain manufacturers may progressively get higher depending on how far along the order process is, and may reach as high as 50% of the product cost. Orders for products that are custom-made or custom-ordered cannot be cancelled or returned for any reason which includes products from LEDS, GROK, FUSING, COUNTRY TRADITIONS, HANOVER, MEYDA bottles, JAMES R. MODER with custom or colored crystal.
